Catering to over 8000 patrons throughout the incident-free weekend, the highlights of this memorable occasion are unmatched.

Curated by the Directors of Twenty 14 Limited, VaCae Weekend from March 29th to April 1st in Ocho Rios, St. Ann has become a household name catering to locals and tourists who have a keen interest in Caribbean entertainment and lifestyle. Andrew Ellis, CEO of Twenty 14 Limited said, “This weekend signals a catalyst for change in how government and corporate Jamaica view events of this nature. We were able to create countless job opportunities for Jamaicans while increasing revenue from tourism. VaCae Weekend, through the help of our loyal fanbase, has grown tremendously and as we continue to grow, we will embrace additional markets to export our events”.

The weekend began at Plantation Cove in St. Ann with The Lawn, a chic yet sophisticated yellow affair providing a delicious brunch for those in attendance. The ambiance, food, music, and fashion coupled with dazzling fireworks helped create an epic start to the weekend. This event was followed by the dancehall themed event, Pan Di Plaza, which saw patrons wearing, representing, and celebrating dancehall’s contribution to fashion through their risky and memorable fashion statements. Patrons from Pan Di Plaza enjoyed the best of dancehall through music, food, and fashion. To add icing on the cake, recording artiste Bayka performed to a sea of screaming female fans who enjoyed hits such as ‘1Uptown’, ‘Siddung’, and ‘She Like It’, to name a few.

Day 2 of the weekend saw the ultimate water party, Aqua Holix at Bay Beach in Ocho Rios. The day event provided a wet and dry area with most patrons choosing to unwind on the beach. The ladies were skimpily clad in their swimwear enjoying the Jamaican sun and the gents enjoyed the music and the view. Strictly 2K Throwback Music Festival followed, back at Plantain Cove, paying tribute to the best of the 2000s. Selector and recording artiste, Tony Matterhorn, who flew in for his appearance, not only brought us down memory lane with his selections but treated his trusted fans with performance of his hit singles ‘Dutty Wine’, ‘Siddung Pan It’, and ‘Goodas Fi Dem’

While all the events had their unique set-up and design, The Estate did not come to play. The all-white event set up and décor created multiple photo opportunities providing a premium look and feel. Under the theme ‘Vineyard Soiree’ the detailed white floral touches, mixed with divine crystals, and white draping paired with unlimited all-inclusive wine made this event ‘top tier’. In the night. Ova Suh, saw the women in sultry lingerie while the men sported their best and unique pajamas.  This adult-playground had patrons letting loose to the best urban music from multiple deejays. Patrons partied up to 3am in the morning with no intention of stopping.

To close out the weekend, the famed Sandz X (Sandz Caribbean Music Festival) saw crowds coming in from as early as midday for the 2pm event. With over 8000 patrons in attendance, Sandz X has been breaking its own records, creating massive waves within the Caribbean Diaspora. Dubbed as the best end to the weekend, the incident-free Sandz X hosted an Egyptian theme, featuring an appearance from international social media sensation Jayda Wayda (the host of the weekend) with initial performances from recording artiste Jada Kingdom and international rap star, Yung Miami, who was joined on stage by Jamaican dancer and influencer, Rebel. As the night progressed, and with the mention of Sandz X celebrating 10 years, fans were treated to additional performances from Skeng and Jahshii who, for the first time in over 2 years, appeared on a stage together, after a stellar performance from the 4th Genna boss himself, Aidonia
