Recording artiste Vyzadon has been added to the stellar lineup of artistes featured on ‘Reggae Vaccine’ Compilation Album now available on pre-order on Amazon and iTunes. The album executive produced by Contractor Music, Urban Angel, Digital 1 Production, and Top Braff Entertainment has been garnering the attention of media locally and internationally.

Vyzadon’s single ‘Trench Town’ produced by Firewayne of Echo One Production praises Trench Town as the home of the greats. Sean ‘Contractor’ Edwards, of Contractor Music was very selective of the artistes on the album; he said, “What struck a chord with me with the single ‘Trench Town’ is the fact that the album is headlined by a Marley (Julian Marley) and we all know the roots of the Bob Marley and the Wailers are from Trench Town musically. That is where they lived in Kingston, Bob, Peter, and Bunny and that is where they got so much of their inspiration, from Trench Town and that is where he got his big break. So, because we had the Marley headlining it and Trench Town is so significant in not only the career of the Marleys but reggae in general it was a no brainer for me with that song.”

The album includes a list of heavy hitters including Julian Marley, Shatta Wale, Anthony B, Bounty Killer, Ed Sheeran, Jethro Alonestar Sheeran, Gyptian, Mojo Morgan, Wayne Wonder, Chedidek, Jah Vinci, and emerging artistes such as Xray, Choruz, Oven Boss, and Vyzadon. All the singles on the album are well received. When asked about the name ‘Reggae Vaccine’, Sean ‘Contractor’ Edwards said, “Music is a healer in this time. Bob Marley’s sales and streams have increased over 300% in the pandemic. Music is healing for the mind and the soul thus the name Reggae Vaccine”.

Vyzadon rocked the stage in September 2020 at ‘The Mixer’, hosted on OnStage’s YouTube platform sharing a stage with the profound Agent Sasco and reggae powerhouse Sizzla Kalonji. He also performed recently along with Beenie Man on Bob Marley’s 76th virtual birthday celebration produced by the Bob Marley Foundation in partnership with other Marley family entities and Jamaica’s Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment, and Sports. In addition to a successful performance and the warm reception of fans and viewers, Vyzadon’s single ‘Unfriend Yuh’ was a featured soundtrack on the first episode of Canadian reality TV show, ‘Dancehall Divas’.  “I have been putting in the work because consistency is key for me. This album and my past successes are all steppingstones to future successes. I am excited to learn more and grown more”, said Vyzadon.

Vyzadon who reigns from Trench Town was inspired by the diversity of reggae royalty, Damian ‘Jr Gong’ Marley, and the persistence of international recording artiste John Legend.
